Dr. Terry is Executive Vice President and Chief Education Officer, Sterling National Financial Group, where she is liaison to Texas Education Agency service centers, public school district superintendents,  college/university administrators and professional organizations.

Dr. Terry has degrees and certifications from Texas Woman’s University, University of the Netherlands, Texas A & M University – Commerce, The University of North Texas and Salve Regina College. 

Higher Education Administration includes:   Texas A & M – Commerce, Professor, Department of Family and Consumer Science,  where Housing,  Arts and Design were initiated.  Appalachian State University, Chair, Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, where International Study, Appalachian House (Washington, D.C.) and The Loft (New York, NY), Juried Presentations and Publications were initiated. Texas State University, Chair, Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, where International Study, State and National Accreditations, Juried Presentations and Publications were initiated.

Public Education Administration includes: Rockwall Independent School District, Assistant Superintendent, where Policy, Strategic Thinking/Planning, Research, Bond Elections, Zoning, District Committees and Education Foundation originated.

Professional Activity includes: Leadership roles in state, regional, national and international organizations, committees, councils and consultancies; Research and development of juried programs, presentations and publications; Member and Chair of college/university boards.

Dr. Terry is the mother of Tiffany who is Minister for Care Ministries, Wilshire Baptist Church, Dallas, and Blayne who is in the restaurant business.  Alan, son-in-law, is Oncology Chaplain, Baylor Scott & White Health Care System. Granddaughter Cayton Beall is an elementary school student in Richardson ISD.
